No self-serve refunds
Refunds are available only by email. The product does not offer a refund button or any other self-serve refund flow.
Where and how to apply
Send your request to support@toolswitch.dev.
- Subject line: use the format Refund request — [order number or payment date].
- Only email to this address counts as a formal refund request. Messages on social networks or other channels are not formal applications.
What your email must include
Please include all of the following. We may ask you to complete the request before we can decide.
- 1. The email address of the Toolswitch account you use to sign in (it should match the paying account, or you should be able to show it is the same account).
- 2. Your Stripe Checkout session id, payment id, or invoice number (for example a value starting with cs_, or the invoice number on your receipt).
- 3. The amount paid in USD and the approximate payment date and time.
- 4. A short reason for the refund request.
- 5. Optionally, the time range of related tool calls, to help us check usage.
We will not ask you by email for your full card number.
How we handle requests and timing
After we receive a complete application, we will confirm in writing within two (2) business days (Hong Kong) whether we have everything we need.
Within five (5) business days (Hong Kong) after a complete application, we will reply in writing with whether a refund is possible, the refundable amount if any, and the method.
If a refund is approved, we will return it to the original payment method through Stripe. After we submit the refund, funds usually appear on the original payment method within 5–10 business days; the exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer and on Stripe.
Scope and limits
- This policy applies only to amounts you paid to Frameskip Labs Limited / Toolswitch.
- Trial credits and free credits, if any, are not refundable as cash.
- Amounts already used for tool calls or other paid usage are generally not refundable as cash.
- Unused balance from the relevant purchase may be refundable. The refundable amount and how it is calculated will be stated in our written reply.
- If we made a billing error, we will preferentially correct the bill or refund the overcharge.
- We may decline a request where the account has breached our Terms of Service, where we cannot verify the purchase or account ownership, or where the request is fraudulent or abusive.
- Lack of availability, accuracy, or quality of upstream tools does not by itself entitle you to a full refund.
